Little Monsters!

Happy New Year! Christmas is now over! :(
If you have made any New Years resolutions then tell me, I would love to know.

Anyway, today's post is about 2 little monsters that I have sewn and created using my sewing machine. I am not sure if anyone else has done this before, but I just thought of it and decided to make them.

The first one I made was the smaller one, and then about a week later I made the bigger one. Originally, I was going to stuff the arms and legs but now I am glad that I didn't and think they are much better without. These two creatures were made out of old quilt covers, and for the bigger one, his arms were made out of an old men's shirt.

I love these two loveable little monsters, they were so easy to create and you don't even need a sewing machine, although they are a little bit better when you use one.

If you would like to see how I made them, then comment and I will possibly do a YouTube video or blog post showing you.

Please follow my blog, it would be much appreciated.

Only One More Sleep To Go! | The Christmas Countdown Is Over!

So, it is finally Christmas Eve! Yay!!!!!!! I can't believe how quick this year has gone by, has it gone quick for you as well? I can remember last years Christmas Eve and it feels like it was yesterday.

Also, with only one sleep to go, the Christmas Countdown is over, and I have enjoyed doing festive blog posts throughout December. I am sorry I have not been too consistent, and missed some days out, I have just been a bit too busy.

I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas Countdown, and now I will be doing normal posts now, most of them to do with sewing and sketching. Hopefully next year I will still have my blog so p I can do this again next year!

It is almost here! | 5 days to go!

Yay! School is offically over for Christmas! Only 5 more sleeps until Christmas Day! I think that Christmas starts from the first of December, so I have been feeling Christmassy for 20 days now! I love Christmas Eve, and everything I do on Christmas Eve,apart from the usual things, like eating, HAS to do with Christmas!

This was just a quick post today, but. I just wanted to let you know that I will not be blogging for the next couple of days, as I am going to be round my Nan and Grandads house over the course of the weekend, so I won't have much time, but I might find time to sneak one in.

Okay, gotta go now, but for now I just want to say have a very merry Christmas, and if I don't blog within the next couple of days, I will see you for the FINAL Christmas Countdown post!!!

Thorntons Chocolate Advent Calendar! | 16 days to go!

So, with 16 days to go until Christmas, I have been opening my advent calendar for 9 days now. This picture was taken before the 1st of December, so that is why none of the doors have been opened yet, in case you were wondering.

My advent calendar is Thorntons, as you can see from the picture. I have gone from the character advent calendars, which have the not so nice chocolate in them, to a Cadbury's one, and now I am on the Thorntons one.

The chocolate in this advent calendar is yummy and delicious, with decent sized chocolate. By decent sized, I mean not teeny little chocolates that you get in the character ones. Also, the pictures inside the doors are really cute and jolly.

So, there you have another Christmas Countdown post, it was a short one today, but there will be a longer one in a few days time. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. If  you did, then please can you follow my blog for the rest of the Christmas Countdown posts.

Remember. Only 16 more days to go until the big day!

Christmas Music! | 22 days to go!

I love Christmas music sooooooo much! It is ever so jolly and happy, I cannot find one Christmas song that doesn't have some sort of happy theme going about it. If you can name one that isn't, then comment below the name and who it is by, and then I will go and listen to it, and decide myself whether I think it is joyful or not.

So, today I am going to talk about my top three Christmas songs.

3. In third place is Merry Christmas Everybody by Slade. I love this song and I know most of the words to it. I just love it so much!

2. I can't really decide out of this next one and the song I am naming my favourite Christmas song, but I think the song in first place is just one better than this. It is Merry Christmas Everyone (such a similar name to the Slade one, but still different though) by Shakin' Stevens. I know every single word to this song, I have already listened to it loads of time in these first few days of December.

And, in first place, we have.....

All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey. This has been my favourite Christmas song for as long as I can remember, although I wasn't born when it first came out back in the 90's. It is so jolly and is what I call a Christmas Classic.

So, those are my favourite Christmas songs. Comment below what your favourite Christmas songs are and I will take a read.

Also, only 22 days to go!!!
